When?

link

When was the last time a friggin' tag irritated your skin?

Yeah, Hanes is hardly the only men's clothing manufacturer to stop using tags and go to printing right on the article of apparel. But just what do you suppose is cheaper, printing the info on the material, or purchasing additional material, cutting it to size, then print the necessary info and sew it into place? You betcher ass it's cheaper the "new" way.

My daddy had a saying that most certainly applies here:
Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining

Doesn't Michael Jordan have piles of money? Did he really need to lend his endorsement to something that silly?

I think there are worse problems in the world than the occasional tag pop-out. But ya know, livin' here in the "1st World", we worry about stuff like that.

Right now, I'm worrying about the heat from these habanero chicken wings.

Heh. When I first started down the slippery slope of hotter and hotter condiments, it used to be that my intake could handle much more than my exhaust. But, I became more or less immune.

I think mainly I'm just out of practice. I don't eat hot food as much as I used to, so I'm less accustomed to it. It might also be that since I switched from smoking to vaping (i.e. using an electronic cig), my tastebuds are more sensitive. Whatever the reason, I could more easily eat hotter food in the past.

At least you more or less quit smoking. That's gotta make you feel better.

I don't know whether I feel much better, but I'm saving money. ;-P
