That score squeaks me in at the ninetieth percentile. I was a voracious reader as a child and teen and was exposed to a larger vocabulary because I read a lot above my supposed "level." But wow, some of those words I didn't know - whew!

Sheet, don't be thinkin' like that, CVPH - you shoulda seen the amount of words I left unchecked. I'd be for thinking a very knowledgeable English professor with a lot of Latin and other European language backgrounds could peg the meter. Those puppies were pretty specialized.
32,500. I expected to do better than that, but I do tend to the same genre over and over, so I guess that limits vocabulary some. Interesting test!
35,000 -- which was enough before I met Harry Potter and Hogwarts.
