So much for all the wimmen drivers jokes, eh?
Hedonistic musings from the rural point of view
We do not rent pigs
Well, feed the French and kill the Germans
You made my sphincter eat my underpants

I'm just startled to hear that I'm paying below-average premiums.
The six month insurance for both of our cars was about $375 when they both had full coverage.
$698 for six months?!? I only pay $792 for a whole year, and that's with full coverage!!!
How new is your car, Lorrie? Western Kansas is fairly high for insurance for such a rural area because we drive a lot of miles - I'd really, really hate to find out what a new $45k pickup would run with full coverage. Lots of new cars and SUVs out there to bring up the average.
Because women do less mileage they are therefore less likely to crash. If women drive 27% less miles than men then are actualy the same risk as men.
You expect insurance to be directly connected to the number of miles the driver does. If women drive less she should pay less.
Also, james, I think I've seen data that women actually have fewer accidents per mile driven as well. Even if the mileage was the same, they really are safer drivers.
