Sheesh. I'm definitely a child of the seventies and eighties. Here is some tunage by lesser known bands and singers from "back in the day." This selection is decidedly mellow, but it's also what I'd consider a sort of meat and potatoes representation of AOR rock back when dirt was new.

Sheesh. Geez, six of them? Yeah, I know - but most of them are quick downloads. If you do have the time, hope ya enjoy this little blast from the past. I did.....

I'm only with you on the Poco. But then I have that on fairly regular rotation on my iPod. B. R. Cohn Winery (owned by the former manager of the Doobie Brothers) just had its fall charity concert. Cohn managed to line up Doobie Brothers, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, War, the Turtles, Eddie Money,Loverboy, Night Ranger, Greg Kihn Band, and the Turtles.
The decades were rolled back in Sonoma for a weekend.
Lisa: now you've made me jealous! I like the latest incarnation of the Doobs, and listened to all of those bands. I even saw Night Ranger at Cheyenne Frontier Days way back when.
Yeah, these bands really take me back. I like Poco's "Crazy Love" and "Call It Love" the best.
Always liked Climax Blues Band's "I Love You", too.
Good stuff, Mo!
I checked the shelf, and I have five of those six.
I'm quite sure I have four, but checking to see if there are more would require a journey into "The Junk Room," which I'm not willing to undertake....
