Y'all will probably kill me since I'm putting up twenty songs. Probably gonna be the "TL: DR" version of watching videos. Anyhoo, here is a list of songs that make my right foot derned heavy, and I've avoided the obvious ones like I Can't Drive 55 and so on.
But they all have the same effect on me - my right foot gets heavy. Probably a good thing for my license that I generally use cruise control.

This one by Sammy Hagar is pretty well off the beaten path - it just isn't heard much on terrestrial radio anymore, and I sure haven't heard it on SiriusXM, either. It's every bit as hard drivin' as I Can't Drive 55.

Will never forget being in the mountains near Blue Mountain Lake NY. Seems like it was an old Kansas song that came on....was riding with my relatively new driver son....yowsa! He agreed not to play that one while he was driving any more. lol BTW, like your taste.

As I got older, I couldn't lay down the rock, but I picked up the "alternative christian contemporay" as my music of choice.
Audio Adrenaline has some of the best driving songs.....wore out Bloom and Some Kind of Zombie CD's.
My pick for "driving" songs:

Some others that are close seconds are Mighty Good Leader, Memoir and remake of Free Ride.
Nowadays, its all Skillet (but I'm getting too old; it hurts my ears). Try the album Awake.
It's a veritable music library - collect all these on a MP3 player and I'd be set!
Just about anything by AC/DC. Can't believe nobody brought up a single tune by them.
